Is it possible to put a scroll bar with or without arrows on the log screen?

You can use the arrow (up down) keys to scroll the log if there are lot of entries, I'm thinking to an other solution for a dettailed reporting too

I have seen a similar request from Mal for the contacts form, yes I'll add the buttons as soon as possible.
