Currently my hold button only mutes my speakers, but leaves the microphone unmuted. I would expect the hold to both, but at least mute the microphone.

But do you mean Mute button? or Hold Button?, because is different, Hod button place a call in hod, the user placed in hold hear the hold music or messages, but don't mute the operator Mic or speakers.
The mute button feature seems work fine mute microphone
for outgoing audio.

I do mean Hold Button. Currently when I place a user on Hold, they can still hear me through my mic, unless I mute my microphone. I would like it so when I put someone on hold they can no longer hear me.

All ironed out, we had some issues with our server not finding the on hold music. But works now.
